The Siam Cement (Lampang) Company Limited would like to clarify that the Omkoi Coal mine, Chiang Mai, is operated by other private entities. The company does not invest nor hold any shares in that company. Therefore, SCG Lampang ensures that the company has a strict policy not to purchase any raw material nor source that supply from any entity that does not follow the environmental practices and does not comply with the law.
The company has also set a goal of Zero Coal by increasing the proportion of other alternative fuels.
