SCG Skills Development, represented by Mr. Chalat Wongsanguan, Managing Director (second from right) and Lt.JG.Kamolsak Promprayoon, R.T.N., Director-General, Port Authority of Thailand (second from left), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the skills of PAT personnel and the general public as part of a joint effort between the Port Authority of Thailand and SCG Skills Development. The objective of the MoU is to develop the workforce in the logistics sector including transportation drivers, port drivers, and warehouse personnel to become more knowledgeable and skillful in using tools in order to carry out their duties safely in line with international standards. The program will be carried out with a simulator that will facilitate the training by simulating various situations to help lower the risk of accidents during the program while preparing the workforce to handle unexpected circumstances that may occur in real situations.

This cooperation is considered a starting point for the public and private sector in uplifting the skills and capabilities of the workforce in the logistics sector to prepare for the growth of this industry in Thailand in the future.
