SCG, represented by Mr. Weerakorn Saitep (left), Associate Director of Cement-Building Materials, SCG, Cluster Construction Materials under the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented by Dr. Vikrom Watcharakup (center), President of Cluster Construction Materials under The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Thai Building Information Modeling Association (TBIM), represented by Dr. Amorn Pimanmas (right), President of the Building Information Modeling Association, have entered into a “Memorandum of Understanding of Thailand’s BIM Object Standard” at the Federation of Thai Industries. The effort aims to establish the standard for Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Thailand to streamline efficiency and meet international standards. The signing marked a further step in leveraging the digital construction to enhance and extend the benefits for all parties in Thailand’s construction industry.
Currently, SCG has launched a website www.biminone.com which serves as a BIM Library Platform, offering a comprehensive range of BIM object data for building material products. The platform allows users to download objects to create the BIM model. SCG also partnered with The Federation of Thai Industries and the Thai Building Information Modeling Association to promote, develop, and provide a better understanding of BIM.
