Recently, Peute Recycling B.V., member of SCGP, organized the inauguration ceremony of its new plant in Alblasserdam, the Netherlands, located adjacent to the Rotterdam Port, a strategic hub that significantly enhances the efficiency of transportation logistics and doubles the capability to source recycled materials. It includes a boost in recovered paper (RCP) supply to 2 million tons per year and an increase in recycled plastics to 0.2 million tons annually.
The opening of this new plant is a strategic move to foster SCGP’s growth, ensuring stability and enhancing the efficiency of long-term raw material sourcing to support the business operations of all packaging segments. This encompasses upstream production, downstream processing, and internal integration to provide comprehensive packaging solutions. It also accommodates the rapidly growing global market demand for recycled materials.
