SCGP announces digital debenture interest rate of 3.15% per annum for a 3-year, 11-month, 19-day term. Interest payments will be made semi-annually. The debentures carry an “A” credit rating and will be offered through the Pao Tang application from June 4-12, 2025.
The digital debentures issued by SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) are registered, unsubordinated, unsecured bonds with a bondholder representative. These debentures are accessible to all Thai citizens, allowing real-time trading 24 hours a day, providing an investment alternative with regular returns over a 3-year, 11-month, 19-day period. The fixed interest rate is 3.15% per annum, with interest paid every 6 months. SCGP digital debentures have received an “A(tha)” credit rating from Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Limited on January 20, 2025, reflecting the company’s strong business position as a comprehensive packaging service provider in the ASEAN region, solid financial status, and consistent cash flow.
This marks the first time that “SCGP Digital Debentures” offer priority subscription rights to existing digital debenture holders. The offering is divided into three phases:
Phase 1 (June 4-6, 2025): For holders of SCGP256A digital debentures, with a minimum subscription of 1,000,000 baht, in increments of 100,000 baht, with a total limit not exceeding 1 billion baht.
Phase 2 (June 9-10, 2025): For holders of SCGP256A digital debentures, with a reduced minimum subscription of just 10,000 baht, in increments of 10,000 baht, with a total limit not exceeding 800 million baht plus any remaining debentures from Phase 1.
Phase 3 (June 11-12, 2025): For general investors, with a minimum subscription of 10,000 baht, in increments of 10,000 baht, with a total limit not exceeding 200 million baht plus any remaining debentures from Phase 2. The maximum subscription is limited to 50 million baht per person in each allocation phase.
Interested subscribers can register their wallet for trading debentures on the “Pao Tang” application starting today. The allocation method follows a “first-come, first-served” basis until the debentures are fully subscribed in each phase.
