Mr. Dusit Chairat, Head of Smart Solution Business at SCG Smart Living, joined in congratulating Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Pawarunch Udomsiri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Low-Rise Development, on the occasion of THE GRAND Riverfront Ratchapruek – Rama 5 project achieving LEED for Homes (v4.1 Residential Single Family) Gold certification. This marks Southeast Asia’s first sustainable single-family home prototype certification from the U.S. Green Building Council® (USGBC®), accomplished under the consultation of SCG Building & Living Care Consulting team.

Regarding Energy Performance – The project achieves 75% better energy efficiency compared to conventional homes through the implementation of high-efficiency air conditioning systems and building envelope materials. The installation of solar panels for renewable energy generation enables energy savings of approximately 14,000 kWh annually, resulting in a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions equivalent to 5,700 kilograms per year.
Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) – The property features an Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) system that introduces fresh air while expelling stale air from the home. The air filtration system employs MERV 16 filters, which can remove more than 99.7% of PM2.5 particles. Additionally, the home is equipped with real-time air quality monitoring systems that display air quality metrics and indoor pollutant levels.
Water Efficiency – The project incorporates high-efficiency plumbing fixtures and faucets, along with native and environmentally adaptive landscaping to reduce water consumption and minimize maintenance requirements for homeowners. These water conservation measures result in water usage reduction of more than 22%, equivalent to approximately 164,567 liters annually. This conservation effort contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an equivalent of 1,750 kilograms per year.
