SCG Logistics and Volunteers from the Chulalongkorn University Student’s Club Year 1996 Donate “Aerosol Boxes for Thai Doctors”

SCG Logistics and volunteers from the Chulalongkorn University Student’s Club Year 1996 have joined hands to carry out the “Aerosol Box for Thai Doctors” project to prevent against the spread of the COVID-19 virus among doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. The boxes are constructed from clear acrylic sheets and are separated into two different types of aerosol boxes: those aimed at preventing the spread of the virus among medical professionals during intubation which is a process that increases the risk of disease for the personnel involved, and those aimed at preventing the spread of the virus among medical professionals during the clinical specimen collection process. A total of 240 boxes are being manufactured and will be transported by SCG Logistics in order to be donated to 61 hospitals nationwide.

Meanwhile, SCG Logistics has determined a preventative protocol to be followed during the transportation of the aerosol boxes and other products to ensure that they are free from the COVID-19 virus. The protocols include requiring employees to wear face masks at all times at work, checking the temperature of all employees before they enter the work area, cleaning its offices and warehouses with disinfectant at regular intervals, and providing hand sanitizers for employees and visitors throughout its compound.
