Dr. Chana Poomee, Chief Sustainability Officer at SCG, revealed that SCG aims to create a low-carbon society through green innovation development and collaboration with all sectors, following the Inclusive Green Growth approach or “Growing Green, Growing Together.” SCG will showcase its achievements and share knowledge at FTI Expo 2025, organized by the Federation of Thai Industries under the concept “Empowering Thai Industry, Elevating Thailand’s Future” at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center during February 12-15.
“At FTI Expo 2025, SCG will present its work following the Inclusive Green Growth approach, including progress in innovation, technology, and green solutions focusing on CO2 emission reduction processes. These include low-carbon cement, 3D Printing, biochar-mixed concrete that helps transform carbon in Biomass to be stable and stored in concrete, transformation to Digital factories using Smart Manufacturing Solution and Asset Performance Management Solution, as well as technologies that enhance competitiveness and make industries greener.
Furthermore, SCG will present collaborations between industrial entrepreneurs and various sectors to support SMEs in transitioning to a low-carbon society. These include the Go Together project, which offers learning from SCG’s actual knowledge and experience in factories nationwide, and the NZAP – Net Zero Accelerator Program, focusing on enhancing competitiveness to cope with global warming.
“SCG hopes that industrial entrepreneurs and various sectors participating in FTI Expo 2025 will exchange knowledge and collaborate to make Thai industry stronger and more sustainable, ready to face all challenges towards a sustainable future,” Dr. Chana said.
