Ms. Amornrat Saensureerungsikul, Quality Assurance Manager of The Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Company Limited, represented SCG Cement and Green Solutions as a speaker at “The 58th Annual Meeting of the Cement and Concrete Industry of Hawaii,” organized by Hawaiian Cement, a key business partner, at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel in Hawaii, USA. Her presentation was titled “Ensuring Quality and Innovation: SCG’s Low Carbon Cement for Hawaiian Cement.”
During the presentation, SCG Cement and Green Solutions introduced their Low Carbon Portland Cement (Type IL) to Hawaiian Cement’s key customers, who trust in the company’s quality and service. Key points included quality control in production meeting international standards, the use of clean energy through alternative fuels, and export guarantees for low-carbon products that are environmentally friendly, certified by the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The EPD provides information about the environmental impact of products throughout their lifecycle, helping consumers and businesses make informed decisions about environmentally friendly products.
SCG Cement and Green Solutions aims to become a leading exporter of Low Carbon Cement (Type IL), having begun their first export shipment in October 2023 from Sriracha Harbor to Hawaii, USA. The company plans to continuously expand their low-carbon cement market by strengthening export capabilities to the United States, starting with Hawaii and expanding to Oregon and California, as well as Canada and Australia. This aligns with their strategy to promote low-carbon products in pursuit of achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
