Sasin School of Management and SCG Chemicals (SCGC), the chemicals business for sustainability, had announced the winner of the SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 Thailand Competition Round. The competition was held to find the university team that can create the best world-class business development model under the theme, “Redefining the Future of Sustainable Ventures.” The Defire team from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is the winner of the Thailand Competition Round and received a cash prize of US$ 3,000 (approximately THB 100,000) and is qualified to compete in the Global Competition stage. The first runner-up of the Thailand Competition Round is the YaBez team from Pathumthani University. The winner of the 60–Second Pitch contest is the Shrimpney team from Mahidol University. This year’s SCG Bangkok Business Challenge featured a total of 113 teams from 17 universities across the country. The final round recently took place at Sasin School of Management on March 27, 2022.
The list of winning teams is as follows;
“Defire” from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT): The winner of SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Thailand Competition and qualified for the Global Competition stage. They received a cash prize of US$ 3,000 (approximately THB 100,000)
“YaBez” from Pathumthani University: The first runner-up of SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Thailand Competition. They received a cash prize of US$ 1,000 (approximately THB 34,000)
“Shrimpney” from Mahidol University: The winner of the 60–Second Pitch contest at SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Thailand Competition. They also received a cash prize of US$ 500 (approximately THB 17,000)
