COTTO sanitary ware has been awarded first runner-up at the Thailand Green Design Awards 2025. The team was led by Mr. Thana Rattanakasettasin, Mr. Natchaphon Inklin, Mr. Wirote Ngampuphan, and Ms. Natthika Wongchansua from Siam Sanitaryware Industry Company Limited.
The award was granted in the Category 2 competition for Resource Efficiency, which recognizes designs focused on efficient resource utilization, transforming waste into valuable resources, recycling, waste reduction, and upcycling. These innovations are particularly valued for their contribution to carbon footprint calculations.
The Thailand Green Design Awards 2025 ceremony was organized by the Institute of Agricultural Products and Agro-Industrial Research at Kasetsart University as part of the 2025 Agriculture Fair. The competition emphasizes systematic creative production processes, environmentally friendly innovations, and addressing the growing waste crisis. It also promotes designs that enhance quality of life under current conditions, encourage the utilization of biological resources, and foster sustainable societies through multi-sector participation.
