Initiative promotes cooperative members’ access to Solar Rooftop, EV Charger, and Home Solution products for improved air quality with special interest rates through MOU signing witnessed by IFC representative
Bangkok, August 20, 2025 – The Bank of Thailand Staff Savings Cooperative Limited (BOT Cooperative) and SCG Living and Housing Solutions Company Limited under the ONNEX by SCG brand have jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the “BOTCOOP Green Loan Project” to support BOT Cooperative members in accessing special interest rate loans for installing clean energy equipment and sustainable housing solutions. This collaboration encompasses three product and solution categories:
- Solar Rooftop solar power generation systems for residential roofs
- EV Charger electric vehicle charging stations
- Home Solutions including ONNEX ACTIVE AIR FLOW and ONNEX ACTIVE AIR QUALITY innovations for energy-efficient homes with enhanced indoor air quality
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Bank of Thailand, with senior executives from both organizations participating. Representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, served as witnesses, emphasizing the importance of international support for environmental and sustainability financing.
Mr. Kittipat Jiamsripong, Vice Chairman of BOT Cooperative, stated: “The BOTCOOP Green Loan project represents another significant step in helping Bank of Thailand cooperative members access special interest rate loans to promote easier investment in sustainability solutions. We believe this collaboration will enhance the quality of life for BOT Cooperative members and contribute to building a green society for the future.”
