SCG, led by Mr. Paramate Nisagornsen, Vice President – Regional Business of Cement-Building Materials Business, received Excellence Award in the category of Property & Construction from Mr. Suraporn Danaitangtrakul, Assistant Deputy Minister of Energy at “DRIVE AWARD 2019 Environment and Sustainability,” organized by MBA Chula Alumni, the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. The award recipients are selected by qualified committee to recognize organizations with outstanding contributions to the public sector in driving the society and business with the focus on environment and sustainability evidenced by excellent operational performance in 2018, organization management, GC score and Thailand Sustainability Investment as well as efforts to providing benefits to the community, society and environment and technology implementation for sustainability.
The award signifies SCG’s commitment to conducting business responsibly with good governance coupled with creating the balance and value for society and environment. SCG has strengthened efforts to achieving sustainability and sustainable development goals with innovative products and services, aimed at improving the customer’s living standards. SCG has incorporated the Circular Economy concept to upgrade the value chain to provide favorable impacts to stakeholders which is a foundation to bolster business and improve long-term competitiveness.
The DRIVE AWARD is held for the 3rd year to annually recognize the organization’s significant contributions in each area and offer exemplary guidelines for the business community.
