“WINDSOR” Advances Low-Carbon Vinyl Door and Window Innovation, First in Thailand, Enhancing Sustainable Living; Launches New ‘WINDSOR Replacement Solution’ for Renovation Market with Quick Installation

WINDSOR, the market leader in vinyl doors and windows in the SCG Chemicals (SCGC) business group, is focused on elevating living standards for a sustainable future. The company is advancing the development of low-carbon vinyl door and window innovations, becoming the first in Thailand to do so. Most recently, at the Architect’68 exhibition, WINDSOR launched its new ‘WINDSOR Replacement Solution’ targeting the renovation market, which can be installed over existing door and window frames for quick completion. The company also showcased its vinyl door and window products and solutions, including the ‘Ultimate Protection’ solution that provides maximum protection for residents against noise, PM2.5 dust, heat, and leakage.

Mr. Krit Bunnag, Managing Director of Nawaplastic Industries Co., Ltd., part of the SCG Chemicals (SCGC) business group, revealed that “WINDSOR aims to elevate living standards for a sustainable future, responding to future lifestyle changes. The company has developed innovations and solutions that address both functional and design needs while remaining environmentally friendly. WINDSOR has advanced further by developing low-carbon vinyl doors and windows—the first in Thailand—using Pre-Cut production innovation, a unique feature of the WINDSOR brand. This enhances the efficiency of vinyl door and window assembly and eliminates waste in the assembly process (Zero Waste), thereby saving energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by up to 290,000 kilograms of CO₂, equivalent to planting more than 34,000 trees per year*. The products have been certified by SCG Green Choice and have received Carbon Footprint Product (CFP) and Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) labels from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), aligning with the vision of ‘Windsor for Sustainability.'”

Most recently at “Architect’68,” WINDSOR launched its new ‘WINDSOR Replacement Solution’ specifically for renovation projects. With a specially designed system that can be installed over existing door and window frames without removal, installation is convenient and quick, eliminating the need for temporary relocation. Old wooden doors and windows can be replaced with internationally-quality vinyl doors and windows developed specifically for hot and humid climates, ensuring long service life without rotting, warping, or cracking. This solution addresses the needs of both homeowners and owners of residential businesses, hotels, and resorts who want to renovate and upgrade their doors and windows for greater efficiency, while also giving homes a new look in an eco-friendly manner.

At the exhibition, WINDSOR also showcased its products and solutions for future living design under the concept “WINDSOR’s 25th Anniversary – Reimagine Future Living.” This included the ‘Ultimate Protection’ solution, which provides maximum protection for homes against noise, PM2.5 dust, heat, and leakage, ensuring comfortable living while helping to save energy in the long term and remaining environmentally friendly.
