SCG partners with Federation of Thai Industries to introduce entrepreneurs to Low Carbon innovations and Industry 4.0 technologies for knowledge exchange, aiming for low-carbon business transition under the Go Together project

SCG, in collaboration with the Eastern Federation of Thai Industries, opened the SCG Chemicals (SCGC) plant, a leader in comprehensive sustainable polymer business, to over 50 SME entrepreneurs from Rayong and Chanthaburi provinces. The “Go Together for Sustainable Growth” project allows entrepreneurs to learn from real experiences, exchange ideas, and receive close consultation from experts to enhance their competitiveness and transition to a low-carbon society in response to global warming. The event was honored by Mr. Anupong Thawornwong, Chairman of Chanthaburi Federation of Thai Industries, and Mr. Pichit Theerachaipaisarn, Vice Chairman of Rayong Federation of Thai Industries. They were welcomed by Mr. Sanit Kessuwan, Sustainability Management Office Consultant at SCG, and Mr. Nipat Lumlersluxanachai, Managing Director of Thai MFC Company Limited in SCGC, along with executives at RIL Industrial Estate, Rayong.

Entrepreneurs experienced digital technologies, clean energy innovations, and environmentally friendly production processes at SCGC following the Inclusive Green Growth approach, promoting economic growth while reducing environmental impact, including:

  • Robotic and Automation technology supporting Industry 4.0 at Nawaplastic Industries Factory
  • Comprehensive digital management platform solutions for industry at the Unified Operations Center REPCO NEX
  • ASEAN’s first comprehensive innovation and product prototype development center at i2P Center (Idea to Product)

The Go Together project aims to enable entrepreneurs from all regions nationwide to study environmentally friendly management processes, exchange experiences, and build strong partnerships for sustainable development of Thai industries. The project is supported by the Federation of Thai Industries and the Thai Bankers’ Association, which helps drive Green Finance funding support to promote overall economic growth and create sustainable growth together.
