Mr. Dusit Chairat, Head of Smart System Solution Business at SCG, participated in the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) plaque presentation ceremony to celebrate Krungthai Bank’s Nana North Headquarters achieving LEED v4.1 Gold certification in the Operations and Maintenance (O+M) category. The event was led by Mr. Phichitsak Siripanjana, Head of Operations at Krungthai Bank. This achievement highlights the building’s enhanced energy efficiency, reduced resource consumption, decreased greenhouse gas emissions, and improved indoor air quality, all of which contribute to Krungthai Bank’s overarching NET ZERO goals. SCG Building and Living Care Consulting served as the advisor for the certification process.
Mr. Dusit stated, “This LEED certification reflects Krungthai Bank’s commitment to ESG goals, creating positive environmental and community impacts for sustainable development. SCG is honored to play a key role in this project. In addition to Nana North Headquarters, Krungthai Bank is also working towards LEED certification for its Sukhumvit Headquarters, a collaboration we are proud to support and are confident will also be successful.”
Mr. Phichitsak emphasized, “Krungthai Bank recognizes the importance of environmental preservation and sustainable development. We initiated projects to improve the energy management of existing buildings, aligning with LEED v4.1 O+M (Operations and Maintenance) Gold standards set by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Nana North Headquarters marks the starting point of this journey, with plans to achieve LEED certification for our Sukhumvit Headquarters next. These initiatives are part of our commitment to achieving NET ZERO by 2050.”
